Picture a floating toolbar with a set of capabilities for controling the permutation process for the current model node or spreadsheet cell, sheet, or model. The installation of this floating toolbar requires that you slightly modify your data structure to support polymorphic modeling commands on the menu and controls on the toolbar. It also requires that you enhace certain operations within your application to include a set of polymorhic behaviors or algorithms used to respond to context sensitive events, such as a user entering a value into a formula cell or clicking on a control or menu command. Thus, the polymoprhic paradigm is accomplished with a combination of data structure, algorithms and controls.
